Heading to College?

Your high school years are coming to a close, and you're college bound! If you are worried about how you’re going to pay for it all, we can help! We are here to answer your questions.

Student Loans!

Having difficulties paying for postsecondary education? Montana’s Choice student loans can help. Choose from an array of loans to meet your individual needs!

Montana’s Choice Stafford Federal Loans — A Stafford Federal Loan is one of the most affordable financial aid tools available to students with interest rates lower than most other forms of financing. Payments are deferred until after graduation.

Montana’s Choice PLUS Federal Loans — PLUS Federal Loans are available to parents of full or part-time dependent, undergraduate students. The parent, not the student, is responsible for repayment of these fixed-rate loans. The loans have no aggregate limit, meaning a parent can borrow as much as needed to pay for their child’s education less other financial aid received for the academic year.

Graduate PLUS Federal Loans — A Graduate PLUS Federal Loan is an affordable, fixed-interest loan for graduate and professional students. To qualify for this loan, students must be attending school at least half time and have applied for the maximum amount available in the Federal Stafford Program.

Montana’s Choice Student Loans are a product of the Montana Higher Education Student Assistance Corporation (MHESAC). All MHESAC loans are serviced and administered by Student Assistance Foundation. Visit the Montana Choice Website. Remember to use Altana's Loan ID number on your student loan application - 831875
