Pennsylvania Transactions Blocked

We have confirmed reports of debit card fraud from Pennsylvania. Until further notice, any suspicious activity on your account originating from Pennsylvania will be blocked. If you are traveling to Pennsylvania or plan to travel, please contact us to remove the block. If you feel that your account has been compromised, please contact our Card Services Department by calling 406.651.AFCU (2328).

Counterfeit Check Scam

We have been notified of a check scam that is hitting the nation involving fraudulent checks bearing our former name (Avanta).  These checks are included with a letter claiming that the recipient has won the lottery.

Phishing email

There is a new phishing email that has circulated to Altana Federal Credit Union members. These emails (complete with a CUNA letterhead) request consumers to call a phone number or click a link claiming a compromise of your credit card account. Do not respond to this message!

Altana does not ask for personal information via email. The Credit Union National Association is the trade association for credit unions in the U.S. CUNA does not maintain any type of customer/member financial information.
